Get ready to experience the vibrant and eclectic art forms of Seattle in one unforgettable night! Join us for an evening of creativity, culture, and connection as we celebrate the rich and diverse expressions of music, comedy, and poetry in the heart of our city.

Featuring PNW's own Poet Alejandro Snead , Standup comedian Dubai Denis , Singer/songwriter Yohanna E , Grammy award winning producer Brainy Beatz , Rapper/Activist Latio Cosmos , Afrobeat sensation Navicha music , Jamaican Dancehall Queen Jholi Official, Award winning Artist, Producer Simon Okelo , Tukwila city councilor Mohamed Abdi and More surprise guests .





This interdisciplinary experience promises to be a whirlwind of laughter, rhythm, Dj sets and soul-stirring verses, all coming together in an intimate and electric setting. It's a unique opportunity for artists to shine and share their one-of-a-kind voices with a passionate audience.


This event was made possible by Kicheko Project, a non-profit based in Seattle .Kicheko Project's intention is to help connect people in Washington through the medium of art and provide an avenue for artistic expression for local creatives and to help their work shine in the public realm.




Jholi, a talented Dancehall artist, hails from Jamaica and has been deeply passionate about poetry since her early teenage years. During her time in high school, she was an active member of the choir, honing her musical talents from a young age.


Following her college years, Jholi delved into the world of music, embarking on a journey of recording and songwriting. In 2018, she made her debut with the single "I Like It," featuring dancehall artist Jahvinci.


Jholi draws inspiration from a variety of influential artists including Lady Saw, Spice, Buju Banton, Vybz Kartel, Tommy Lee, and Tessanne Chin, shaping her unique musical style and artistic vision.




Alejandro Snead, a 26-year-old visionary hailing from Tacoma, uses the art of writing, and drawing to tell his stories. His debut publication, The Gentlemen's Notebook,  intertwines poetry and visual art, serving as a testament to his multifaceted creativity. Drawing inspiration from the poetic cadence of hip hop, Alejandro finds solace in the works of artists such as J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, and the Notorious B.I.G.


Through his work, Alejandro also uses visual art to unravel profound meanings and connections to his poetry. His unique ability to articulate the human experience effortlessly captivates his audiences. Committed to self-expression and creative prowess, Alejandro Snead invites all who encounter his work to embark on a transformative journey of introspection and revelation.



Emerging from the vibrant city of Seattle, Yohanna E. is etching her narrative onto the canvas of the music industry, a rising star whose melodies weave tales not only of her own journey, but also echo the diverse stories of many. As an Eritrean American, Yohanna passionately contributes to the dynamic tapestry of our ever-evolving society, infusing her lyrics with the richness of her cultural heritage, offering a unique perspective that transcends boundaries.


Yohanna E. has graced stages around the globe, leaving her mark in iconic cities such as Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris, Asmara, and London. In addition to her contributions to the music scene, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs and Communication, a testament to her multifaceted prowess.





Kingsley Kofi Tay, also known by his professional moniker DJ BrainyBeatz, is a profoundly accomplished Ghanaian record producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. His incredible talent and dedication have earned him numerous accolades, including a nomination for Producer of the Year at the prestigious Ghana Music Awards in Ghana, the USA, and the UK. He won Best Music Producer award at the esteemed Bass Awards in 2019 and the African Achievement Awards USA in 2021.


His latest project is with JUPITAR ,  “The One" album, which was recorded in new Jersey. DJ BrainyBeatz is part of the respected High Grade family from Ghana & Kwatay Entertainment a USA based company.


A collaborative effort between DJ BrainyBeatz and Loudcity, two renowned Grammy-nominated producers achieved the remarkable feat of taking SAMINI to the Billboard reggae charts. Their album "Untamed" soared to #8 and held its position for months. DJ BrainyBeatz's ability to craft timeless, impactful music has solidified his status as a visionary force in the industry, and his passionate work continues to inspire and elevate the global music community.



Dubai Denis , a highly acclaimed event performer and host with a stellar 5-star rating on Bark, catering to Seattle and its surrounding areas. Renowned for hosting events attended by senators, mayors, institutions, and corporations, Dubai Denis Maronga has made a significant mark in the event hosting scene. Beyond his event hosting prowess, he is the creative mind behind the award-winning comedy podcast, The Creative Hustle Show.


As the founder and CEO of Kicheko, a thriving non-profit organization based in Seattle, Washington, Denis has dedicated two years to expanding the impact of his work in the community. Partnering with influential entities such as the Seattle Drum School, Sankofa Theatre, Friends of Waterfront, Benaroya Hall, Seattle Art Museum, SARCO Theatre, Ikea Theatre, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Denis actively contributes to events supporting artists of color.


Recognized as an award-winning Kenyan stand-up comedian, radio host, tax professional, community advocate, and philanthropist, Denis Maronga, aka Dubai, has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape. Best known as the charismatic host of Seattle's historic Black Love celebration, the Umoja Festival, he has also spearheaded Miss Kenya USA, the Madaraka Festival Tour, The African Princes of Comedy tour, the MOPOP Black Comedy Festival, the Refugee and Immigrant Festival, and The Northwest Folklife Festival.








Latio Emmanuel Cosmos is a passionate visionary and multi-creative individual deeply inspired by the rich tradition of African ingenuity and beauty. Born in Dagahaley Refugee Camp in Kenya, he originally hails from Sudan. Growing into his consciousness and artistry in Seattle, Latio has traversed many lifetimes, embracing diverse dimensions of both African and American societies.


Through his writing and music, Latio channels his unique perspective, serving as a reminder of the inherent power within each individual. Whether expressing himself through poetry, rap, or the guitar, he skillfully weaves a tapestry of art to share his experiences. Brace yourself for an immersive journey into ancient rhythms and melodies of Africa, resonating with the spirits of the ancestors.
